Our approach

Built the way it was drawn

A great landscape design deserves a build that does it justice. We read drawings, schedules and specifications carefully, source the nominated materials and plants, and construct to the designer's intent, keeping them informed as the work progresses.

We also work directly with homeowners and builders on new builds and garden renovations: assessing the soil, the drainage and what's worth keeping, then handling everything from earthworks through to paving, reticulation, lawn and planting.

How we work

From plans to a finished garden

    Site visit & brief

    We walk the site with you, review any plans or drawings, and talk through scope, materials and timing.

  2. 02

    Clear proposal

    A written proposal with rates, scope and timing. Any questions for the designer are raised before we start, not during.

  3. 03

    Build

    Earthworks, drainage, structures, paving, reticulation and planting, sequenced so each stage is ready for the next.

  4. 04

    Handover & care

    A final walkthrough, a care guide for the first season, and ongoing maintenance if you want it.

FAQ

Before the slab goes down, if possible. Early involvement means we can flag drainage and access considerations that are far cheaper to address before construction than after. At minimum, engage us before the build is complete so we can plan in parallel.
Yes. We're experienced reading drawings, schedules and specifications, sourcing nominated materials and constructing to the designer's intent. We can also collaborate with your landscape architect throughout the build if preferred.
Yes. We manage the complete process — earthworks, drainage, paving, structures, lawn, planting and reticulation — and coordinate the sequencing so each stage is ready for the next.
PDF is ideal. We can work from printed plans too. The more detail the better — include schedules, specifications and any notes from the landscape architect. If there are gaps or ambiguities, we'll raise them before starting rather than making assumptions.
We source specified materials first. If something isn't available, we notify the landscape architect and client promptly and request direction on an approved substitute — we don't make substitutions without approval.
We assess each existing plant and structural element for its condition, contribution to the garden and whether it fits the direction you want to take. We'll walk you through our recommendations with clear reasoning — nothing comes out without your agreement.
We prioritise plants that perform well in Perth's western suburbs — heat and drought tolerant where the aspect demands it, and appropriate for the specific soil profile of each block. We avoid combinations that look good on paper but require constant intervention.
